Viele frühe Fantasy-Games haben leider den Weg nach Deutschland nie geschafft. Wahrscheinlich war der Markt damals einfach noch nicht reif genug und Jahre später waren einige geniale Titel einfach zu Alt. Eines dieser Opfer ist Armaeth das eine lupenreine Fantasystory bietet und sich dabei ein wenig an typischen RPG-Elementen bedient und sogar manchmal noch mit Textinterface arbeitet. Gesteuert wird unsere Dritte Person aber mit der Maus, mittels Symbolen werden uns die Handlungsmöglichkeiten angezeigt und das obligatorische Inventar fehlt ebenfalls nicht. All das ist übersichtlich oben und unten im Hauptfenster angeordnet. Grafisch rangiert Armaeth für seine Zeit weit oben und die Musik- und Soundeffekte runden das ganze ab. Das die Story eine von vielen Fantasystereotypen ist stört dabei nur wenig.INHALT: Set in a time of myths and magic, you take the role of Killian, controlling his actions during the search to locate the Lost Kingdom of Armaeth and the fabled treasures held within.
The world of Armaeth contains places foul and fair, cunnung characters and hazards galore. Only the fittest will survive the hazards and the perils of "The Lost Kingdom".
Armaeth - "The Lost Kingdom" will enchant the novice and challenge the expert with it's unique mixture of atmosphere and long term gameplay.
