Mit der Version von 1999 hat William R. Fisher ein Remake sein erstes Adventure von 1991 erstellt. Das war allerdings nicht sein letztes. Last Half of Darkness ging 2004 in die Dritte und letzte Runde. Scheinbar war der Macher nun endlich gänzlich zufrieden. So zufrieden das er 3 Jahre später einen Zweiten Teil auf den Markt brachte. Bemerkenswert an dem ganzen ist, das es sich um ein Ein-Mann-Projekt handelt. Im Prinzip ähnlich wie ein Fanprojekt hat sich William Fisher mit etwas Hilfe seinen Traum verwirklicht.Das Spiel ist übrigens in 1st-Person, hat geniale Grafik, super Sound und besteht hauptsächlich aus "Benutze-X-mit-Y-Rätseln". Aufgrund der teilweise rohen Gewalt für hartgesottene ebenso empfehlenswert wie für Hobby-Detektive.
Mehr Infos dazu auf der offiziellen Website wo es die beiden aktuellen Games zu kaufen gibt und auch eine Online-Version des Spiels zu erforschen gibt. Ich finde das solche Projekte unterstützt werden sollten, wem also diese Version gefällt sollte sich vielleicht zu einem Kauf entscheiden. Da es sich bei dem Macher um einen Amerikaner handelt gibt es die Spiele natürlich nur in englischer Sprache.
