Im fiktiven Historien-Abenteuer Adventure at the Chateau d'Or treffen wir auf eine Mischung aus Rätselspass sowie Puzzles. Das es dabei sehr linear zu geht kennen wir aus anderen Games ähnlicher Bauart. Vorteilhaft ist zu erwähnen, das man AatCdO in 3 verschiedenen Schwierigkeitsgraden spielen kann und somit das Prädikat "Für die ganze Familie" hier bedenkenlos verliehen werden kann. Wie bei fast allen 1st-Person-Games so ist auch hier die Atmosphäre sehr trocken und kalt. Die Grafik ist zwar sehr schön an zu sehen wirkt aber wie aus einem Architekturprogramm, eben sehr steril. Die gebotenene Rätsel sind, soweit ich das beurteilen kann (ca. 2 Std Test) mittel schwer bei höchster Schwierigkeitsstufe. Search for powerful magic artifacts and find hidden treasures. You must seek out and summon the spirit of the lost Duke. Answer his cryptic questions and unravel the mysteries of his palace.
Explore a luxurious palace and gather clues from tales of the people and places of Paris, old and new. Death and deception are ever-present. You must call upon your intelligence, intuition and knowledge to survive and bring the princess safely to her goal.
